Au moment de sa conception, cette œuvre est inspirée par l’actualité ( les habitants du Kosovo fuient leur pays pour habiter des camps de toile ) et elle est installée sur une place dont le nom évoque le ghetto. Derrière l’image estivale et bucolique du camping et l’hypothèse saugrenue d’un camping urbain transparaît un télescopage de deux tragédies de l’histoire.

at the moment of its conception, this work was inspired by current events (the inhabitants of Kosovo fleeing their country to live in tents) and is installed on a square whose name suggests the ghetto. Behind the bucolic summer image ofcamping and the preposterous hypothesis of urban camping a telescoping of two historical tragedies appears. |
