Peu de temps après, en 1996, à Marseille, ils ont rencontré d'autres artistes (Olivier Dayot, Jean-Paul Bourel) avec qui ils ont construit Mari-Mira & Mira-Mare, les dépendances d’été. Là aussi il était question de fabriquer une matière poétique à partir de l’ordinaire des jours. Un art conçu et fabriqué comme à la maison. Peu à peu, s’est présentée cette idée de réaliser, au fur et à mesure des étapes, une sorte de village transportable, une œuvre évolutive qui à chaque installation s’enrichirait de nouveaux éléments et propositions issus d’un collectif d’artistes et d’inventeurs créé sur place. There as well, the concern was to fabricate poetic matter from the ordinary day-to-day. An art conceived and crafted the homemade way. Little by little, each step along the way, surfaced the idea of realizing a transportable village of sorts, an evolving work which would enrich itself with new elements and propositions coming from a collective of artists and inventors gathered on location.
