" The town of Saint-Jean-Port-Joli is spread along a busy road, and despite it's idilic countryside look, all sorts of heavy goods vehicles, mobile homes the size of coaches, and tractors go up and down all day. We will not stand still. Even the house we lived in had been moved up the road from in town. We decided to move a sports stand, bleachers. The cars had to stop to pass us, and at each food outlet we stopped to eat and enjoy the view. We will not stand for this. We were only stopped by the police once who asked us to go into the hard shoulder instead of driving on the main road." (L.G.B.)
