L’ouvrage a été conçu pour la bibliothèque du Tyrone Guthrie center, un centre d’art irlandais qui acceuille des artistes en résidence. La partie centrale des étagères de la bibliothèque a été démontée et l’espace ainsi creusé en forme de seuil (240 x 110 cm), enduit de plusieurs couches de cendres, issues des foyers des écrivains séjournant dans le centre, réduites en poudre, tamisées puis mêlées à du plâtre.

The work was conceived for the library of the Tyrone Guthrie Center, an Irish art Center. The central bookcase in the library was dismantled and hollowed out (240 x 110 cm). The space was then coated with several layers of ashes taken from the hearths of the writers in residency at the time - ground to dust, sifted and then mixed with plaster.
