Suspendu par un câble un transpalette pend du plafond, son ombre portée accentue son anthropomorphisme.
Le sablage du métal absorbe la lumière et donne à l’oeuvre un aspect éteint à son achromie, paradoxalement il lui donne aussi une apparence nouvelle, bien que le transpalette ait perdu l’usage de sa fonction première.

Suspended by a cable, a pallet truck hangs from the ceiling; the shadow it carries accentuates its anthropomorphism.
The sanding of the metal absorbs the light and gives the work a subdued aspect to its achromy, paradoxically it also gives a new appearance, even though the pallet truck has lost use of its original function.
